Yeah, that’s right, I paid attention in radiology. Just don’t ask me to go into detail about a brain MRI anytime soon. (I didn’t pay that much attention.)

Mythbusters + David Chang + Commander Hadfield = LOVE

I love the idea behind this video so much. These guys are amazing individually and when they get together their awesomeness is just too much! Too much! I love this kind of collaboration between people with such different backgrounds, especially when those backgrounds are food and science.

This is especially true during the surgery clerkship.

There are some days where walking by all the empty hospital beds is like torture. As the saying goes from Samuel Tyler Coleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, “Water water everywhere nor any drop to drink.” Or more commonly heard but not an actual line, “Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink.”

I have found surgeons to have some of the pithiest, funniest, and truest sayings in the hospital. It seems they are as efficient with their words as they are with their time.

Welcome to my new site! I’ll be regularly posting the loot I’ve collected on my endless internet treasure hunt here. All my original drawings will continue to be posted at Med School Sketches.

‘High yield’ is a term heard often in medical school and in postgraduate medical education. It…

Please follow my new tumblr High Yield (I find it almost implausible that nobody took that tumblr domain name)! I’ll be uploading fun and cool things I’ve found on the internet over there, and be keeping the original artwork here.
